Andrew Puzder (Secretary of Labor)
Andrew Franklin “Andy” Puzder (born July 11, 1950) is the chief executive of CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. He received his Juris Doctor in 1978 from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis where he served as senior editor of the Washington University Law Review. Puzder has served as president and CEO of CKE since September 2000.
On December 8, 2016, Puzder was named as President-elect Donald Trump’s planned nominee for United States Secretary of Labor.
